Chelyabinsk Learning Center
Moscow Theological Seminary
Chelyabinsk Regional Educational Center was founded in 1999. Center Director, Igor Maksakov and his assistant Dmitry Sobolev are both graduates of Moscow Theological Seminary. The center has owned it's own facility since 2001. This building enables them to house students and includes a dining room and kitchen, recreation room and two classrooms.
The Chelyabinsk Center is in the Ural Region and supports the Bashkortostan, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan, Perm, Udmurtia and Yekaterinburg areas.
There are 31 students currently enrolled in the Chelyabinsk Center. Eleven of our students are part of our Christian Education part-time course. The remaining 20 students are in our Pastoral Group, also taking part-time classes.

SUPPORT CHELYBINSK
Please join us in praying for our 31 students and their instructors at the Chelybinsk Center. Please pray for:
- Our newest cohorts in Christian education and pastoral ministry, making Chelyabinsk one of MTS's largest learning centers.
- New and deeper understanding of God's Word.
- That nothing inhibits our students from attending class and
completing course work as well as sharing their knowledge and passion
for the Word.
- That the students' families are also blessed and feel God's love as the students are hard at work.
- For the communities that each of our students represents and the
many lost people in those communities who need to hear the Good News of
Jesus.
- For the churches and ministries our students are a part of, that they be blessed as they seek to grow God's kingdom.
- The Chelyabinsk Learning Center as it is launching two new programs in
Pastoral Ministry and Christian Education. Pastoral Ministry is
launching in April 2011 with 26 students and Christian Education will
start in the fall. 15 students are already committed to enroll. If both
programs are successful, Chelyabinsk will become one of our largest
Centers. Pray for Director Igor Maksakov and the faculty there.
A gift from you or your church designated for the Chelybinsk Center will help provide:
- 5 stationary computers
- 1 laser printer
- 1 laptop computer
The computers are necessary for the Center’s accounting functions, preparing and printing students’ papers, and using electronic books and materials.
