Noyabrsk Center
Moscow Theological Seminary
The Noyabrsk Learning Center is comprised of students eager to apply their new found knowledge to their local church ministries.
There are two cohorts with
a total of 22 students: one in Pastoral Ministry and one in Christian Education. Many of our Noyabrsk alumni now serve in the Tyumen, Khanty-Mansiysky and Yamalo-Nenetsky autonomous regions.
MTS alumnus Alexander Podkolzin ('01) serves as the Learning Center Director. Additionally, he is a leading pastor in this region.
“O
ur students have become a force in our region within just the past two
years. I have received reports of improvements in their preaching. Some of our churches have Sunday
Schools for children for the first time.
Because of our remote location we do not have easy access to Sunday
School materials for children. Our MTS Christian Education students have been
preparing the materials used by the churches in our region. I would say we even have a new sense of
hope in our region because of the fellowship our students have when they come
together. We dream new dreams
about how to plant churches and bring the Gospel to our region.”
~ Director Alexander Podkolzin
Noyabrsk is the most remote of our Learning Centers, located almost to the Arctic Circle. Locate the Noyabrsk Center. Director Alexander Podkolzin lives 400 kilometers north of Noyabrsk and talks about measuring snow falls in meters!
