Why Russia?
The fall of communism in Russia ushered in new freedoms, yet economic struggles and religious oppression linger. Despite widespread unemployment and social issues, a profound spiritual yearning persists. The Russian church seeks more trained leaders to address this hunger. Despite Orthodox tradition, most Russians lack a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Evangelical churches are committed to equipping leaders to meet this need.
Our focus on equipping faithful church leaders:
The Russian church is responding to this opportunity, but its leaders need support, training and encouragement. Without the same resources available in the west, most pastors lack access to seminary training or ministry resources. RLM exists to partner with the church in Russia and the Moscow Theological Seminary, equipping Russian leaders with theological and practical training to share the Gospel of Christ powerfully.
We believe God can overcome every challenge facing Russia today, and we want to serve His people as they serve their congregations and communities.
